Advanced Wealth Managment Remote Full time

Description

We need an experienced Operations Manager. You will report directly to our CEO. You’ll wear several hats (naturally!) and have the opportunity to grow your scope and responsibility as the firm continues to expand.

 

Responsibilities

Human Resources – Recruiting, Development & Retention, Performance Management, Engagement & Communication.

Compliance – Collaborate with our CCO and compliance consultant to strengthen our program. Perform compliance tasks as specified by our compliance calendar.

Finance – Manage our outsourced bookkeeper, drive the quarterly billing process, and run reports.

Office Management – Drive an effective and efficient virtual office.

Vendor Management – Manage several critical vendor relationship including our custodian, outourced IT services, client portal, and so on.

Regular Operations Meetings – Work closely with our CEO to prepare and run our regular “all hands” meetings (weekly, monthly, quarterly), to include prepartion of KPI reports.

 

Qualifications

5+ years in a variety of roles within an RIA
Ability to thrive working remotely
Exceptional attention to detail and well organized
Thrive in a start-up culture
Very comfortable saying “I don’t know” and “I need help”

Overview

We need an analytical Lead Planner. You will lead 125-150 High Net Worth client relationships.

There is ZERO business development expectation in this role. We have a robust marketing engine that produces new clients.

You will report directly to our CEO Tony Gomes.
Apply if you share our values (client service, curiosity, transparency, tenacity & rigor), our heroes (Jack Bogle, Wade Pfau, Bill Sharpe, Fama & French) and our disruptive edge (we charge a single fixed fee for wealth management because AUM pricing stinks for clients).
 

Responsibilities

Manage HNW Client Relationships – The buck stops with you. You are full accountability and reponsibility to lead your HNW relationships.
Drive Financial Planning & Investing Strategies – In addition to managing your HNW relationships, you are responsible for articulating and maintaining their financial plan, collaborating with the paraplanner(s) assigned to you and our Director Financial Planning.

Help Develop the Firm – Interview and train, participate in leadership meetings, and possibly run one of our management functions.

 

Compensation Package

Full-time W2
Salary commensurate with skills & experience
Opportunity to enjoy a bonus of up to $70-100K per year (once we have filled up your book over 2.5-3 years)

Overview

Must Have” Qualifications
5+ years of analytically rigorous financial planning
You have created (from scratch) 125+ complete financial plans in leading software (MoneyGuide Pro, eMoney or Right Capital), at least 50 of which have been for high net worth
 
You’re an expert in at least one of the 3 leading financial planning softwares to the point where you can confidently test muliple scenarios, create custom reports, conduct insurance needs analysis, evalutate tax planning strategies, and more
You love Microsoft Excel – pushing data around, using pivot tables, lookup tables, driving insights that you can’t drive from planning software
 
Very clear thinker and communicator (verbal & written)
Very good at detailed work AND “connecting” it to the bigger picture and seeing how your planning tasks at hand dovetail into the broader client situation
Well organized and respectful of client service standards (deadlines)
 
Very comfortable saying “I don’t know” and “I need help”
Consistently demonstrate our core values (client service, curiosity, transparency, tenacity & rigor)

College degree (4 year)

 

Additional Desired Qualifications

Expertise in MoneyGuide Pro
Relevant designations (e.g. FPQP, CFP, CPA) and/or degrees (accounting, finance, business, economics)
Experience in an RIA (preferably fee-only & growth oriented)
Track record of effective remote work
Track record of thriving in a small company “start-up” culture
 

Compensation Package
